How can I trust the actions I take in simulations?

Answering the root question ‘How can simulations help me take better actions?’ showed simulations informing real-world decisions through interactive dashboards. So the value of simulating the outcomes of actions taken in the real world is quite clear.

So once we have simulated an action, how do we trust it shows us what might happen?
