Robert J. Hardwick
Hello there! 👋 Here’s a bit about me:
I’m an expert in Python/Go/Rust simulations and decision engineering.
As a decision engineer, I’ve worked to:
- Build a generalised platform for a wide variety of business decision-making problems.
- Optimise traffic light control behaviour to improve the flow of multi-modal traffic.
- Improve betting decisions based on simulated cricket match predictions.
- Recommend mass drug administration policies that maximise the chance of disease elimination.
- Optimise decisions between future cosmological surveys to select between physics models.
I also like to create games for python programmers and pencil/pastel/ink sketches.
…and here’s a bit about the technical articles:
- Like other repositories and pre-print servers, e.g., arXiv, these articles are not formally peer-reviewed.
- They represent a collection of research interests that I’ve retained having left formal academic study.
- The goal is to share the technical motivations behind the software projects I’m engaged with in my free time.
- All of this software should be freely available via GitHub (mostly likely somewhere here).
